Ah clever - good idea. I'm always nervous about baking in anything other than a cake tin lol! Never sure if it will work or how long to bake for. Well done you.
Thanks Katy, no I baked cakes in two empty bean tins & they were exactly the right size when joined together :-)
Oh yes Carol - it really came out well didn't it? Did you do the swiss roll for the can in the end? Looks really good, well done
