60th Yellow & Blue
Last minute 60th birthday cake for a surprise party, ordered yesterday for today. All she asked for was chocolate cake with colours of yellow and blue. I made chocolate fudge with caramel filling. Used a piece of my Mom’s crochet lace to make the border. Just pushed into fondant & cut out with a exacto knife. Just finished adding the pearls this AM. Pretty happy how it turned out with so little time. I don’t work well under pressure…. Don’t think I would have done it, except it was for my sons girlfriends Mom. I hope she likes it. :o)

Of course!! Nancy, the b-day "girl", was totally surprised. She and everyone else loved the cake. She kept the Rose, and is going to put it in a vase.... Me....big smile.... :o)
