Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Made this cake as a grooms cake for a friends wedding. It is made completely of cake except for the ducks head, it was made from rice crispy treats. The duck body was carved using a serrated knife then covered with fondant. The cat tails and shot gun shells are made from fondant as well as the camo covering for the bottom layer. It was a fun project. My first carving project

Thank you very nice of you to say. I think the camo could have looked better, the first try was a bust so I had to scramble for colors, had to make fondant out of marshmellows as it was too late to make a michaels run!!

Great job - very impressive, especially for a first time carving.  Camo looks really good too.
