Jeff's Grooms Cake - 122F

Our son played College baseball and this is a replica of his baseball hat from college... he was suprised and thrilled! The hat is made with the ball pan covered in fondant. The bill is gumpaste. I made the Saint Bernard for his college mascot. I rolled out gumpaste and hand cut out the shape then used the edible markers to do the detail work. The cake itself was just a 10" square cut to look like homeplate. He was a pitcher in college and so this cake was very special to him. The dirt is just ground up graham crackers. The bride fell in love with the ceramic bride and groom so we purchased them.
