F-18 Groom's Cake

Two tiered fondant covered cake with an F-18 made out of modeling chocolate soaring through clouds of whipped cream. The sugar work made of gum paste and royal icing details depicted milestones and favorite things in my nephew’s life. It included 3 of his squadron patches; the entrance sign to his base; the Sesame Street sign and the Emperor’s Club movie banner (he was a childhood actor); the New York Yankees; his grade school’s seal; his high school’s seal; and his favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Donatello.
