Thanks.  For this cake I used a mould however I also just form a simple face at times when the effect would be the same.  It is time consuming otherwise- like you said.  I like to look at the faces on the cakes at Pink Cake Box's website.  The eyes and mouths are easy to copy!

Fab cake Mary. Do you hand model the heads of your figures, or do you use a mould? I love her face & have just started to create my own human faces - I find it time consuming, but satisfying once I get it right. Tracy x
