My first attempt at basket weave, not a complete success and my first attempt at sculpting with sugar (also not a complete success).

Thank you, Becky.  I really love the basket weave and am determined to master it.  Your encouragement is greatly appreciated :o)

You did a great job at it -takes a couple times for anything to get a process down!

You are too kind.  This is my first attempt at basket weave...didn't even have the appropriate tip, so it really leaves a lot of room for improvement.  I am DETERMINED to improve!

Next time I do basket weave, it is going to be a lot better (fingers crossed!) !

Getting old just sucks, doesn't it.  I have headaches a lot, but they are sinus headaches triggered by abrupt changes in the barometric pressure.  I have my own affair with Sir Arthur - hands look like the classic witch's hands.  As long as they still work!

Glad you are not a perfectionist because I really, really do not want you to shoot yourself!

I will have you know that I wear my glasses when awake, but only to see. lol

And I KEEP a headache.  Sir 'Arthur' in the neck & head.  And a few other choice places! lol

And if I were a perfectionist,... well, I guess I would have to just shoot myself. lol

NOW who needs to start wearing her glasses!  I really am a perfectionist when making pretty things.  You should see me putting up trim in a room (base boards, crown mold, etc.).  I once had a painter tell me I should be a trim carpenter because the work was so "detailed".  Of course, I could NEVER do any of these things for money because I would make about $.22 per hour.  That's how long it takes. Sometimes I give myself a headache :o)

Girl, you are so talented.  Your 'first attempts', as you call them, look like you have been giving classes on them for years!  We only wish! lol
