lol yes Sandra - they don't call me a tough old bird for nothing!
Hang in there, Katy. If you feel yourself starting to melt down, call on your cake friends for support because we (I, at any rate!) can fully sympathize. Did you see the two Scarlet Macaws that I am working on for a fair entry? Well, a few days ago one of my cats knocked them over. Thankfully, I caught them before they fell all the way over, but they still sustained a lot of breakage. I thought I would throw up but, instead, I had some good practice repairing broken sugar! What doesn't kill us makes us stronger? Sugar artists must be pretty darned strong :o)
If my dragon's tail breaks one more time, or another horn falls off, I'm going to go into meltdown lol!
Thanks. This one was really fun, too.
Thanks, Katy! There were times when this one tried my patience, too, like when I broke a wing feather!
wow! stunning! I'm beginning to think I need to start trying to work with modelling chocolate! I'm in the process of doing a dragon and it's really trying my patience!
beautiful
Thanks so much, Betty. Everything is a first for me. This is my "retirement" hobby.
