My first attempt @ making a super hero true to form (have made a few cartoon types) - love the colours, they really pop on the white background.

I love it too Mandy. I don't have as many opportunities to make cakes as I would like. I live in a medium size city, but surronded by larger cities. There are a ton of bakieres around here. Lot of cupcake and cake shops. 5 in my city alone. Plus a plethora of online Cakers in the area. Stiff competition. But after working 30 yrs., wouldn't want to do caking full time, but one or two a month would be nice.
I'm also a hobby baker and do this after hours but I live in quite a small community and there aren't too many of us cake artists around, so I am constantly having to make these different creations - I am loving it, and no longer spend my nights in front of the TV but rather at my work station. Our kids are grown and out of the house, and this has become a wonderful way to get the grey matter working again - would never have thought that I would become so enamoured with this craft - I absolutely love it! :-)
Well I have the time, I am retired. But couldn't imagine making something like this, or who would want it. I am just a hobby baker. :o)
Hi June - you can say that again! But I reckon I could get it right with lots of practice (it's just finding the time) :-)
Lovely Mandy
Not a easy feat :o)
