She had to pick a famous american to do a project on and she chose Helen Keller, and a cake instead of a poster. She's was 7 when she chose this, she has since learned the sign language alphabet, and has helped out at school with some of the deaf children. I'm very proud of her.

Wow - I really like this cake! Is your niece blind and/or deaf? Or is she just interested in Helen Keller? My mom is Deaf and would totally love a cake like this!
