dinocake

This is my first upload! Joined this great portal recently while looking for a cake recipe.
I've started baking cakes recently for my 3 little kids b'days and after seeing those photos my friend's 3 yr old son started asking me for a dino cake for his b'day! At first I was very hesitant as I've very limited knowledge abt cakes (youtube is my only teacher!) But soon with the help of kind bloggers learned how to make figurines with rice krispies and made this dino cake which he liked very much.
dino figures and volacano are made with rice krispies ,chocolate and fondant. palm trees with rolos and gumpaste. He wanted children to run away from scary dinosaurs :) so made his figurine with gumpaste and tried my best to make it look like he is running away! Pond and pebbles with fondant.Cake is chocolate sponge with very tasty chocolate buttercream.( Got so many nice comments abt the frosting).
