Not quite as neat and tidy as Nadia's! Cake was homemade chocolate cake. Mixed with cream cheese butter icing, dipped in white chocolate, orange butter icing dipped in dark chocolate, and milk chocolate butter icing, dipped in milk chocolate. Little hand made decorations on top.

Lol Goreti - but I have to say my hubby is pretty good about helping me clear up.  He knows I'm a messy so and so and has come to expect it.  He's good enough to say 'you're doing the work for these presents, the least I can do is help clear up'.  Unfortunately, he also keeps wanting to come into the kitchem and make a cup of tea - and that makes me nervous!!!!

Yes Linda, I did at last find the time and had really good fun doing it too.  We gave the box of the cupped ones to our friend last night and he was very pleased indeed!  He loves chocolate and he loves my chocolate cakes, so he was a happy bunny!

Alllll right!! You finally found time to make them!! They look yummy! I've only attempted them once and you are right, Katy, BIG MESS! Once was enough for me. Although, I know if you make them to look like  boxed chocolates without the sticks, they sell around here for $3.00 each, so they would be a real money maker if you wanted to fool with all the mess of them. They can't possibly be as big as a cupcake, so it's the time involved that brings up the price. My sister's son's wife is a real estate agent and she gave all of her clients a box of 4 each at Christmas time, in just a regular candy box and she paid $12.00 a box without blinking an eyeball. I'll bet these tasted awesome!

hmm, so that means hubby has to be out of the house if I ever want to try theses.  He can't stand the mess I make when I decorate my cakes.  Like he is the one who is going to clean it.

Messy you say?  MESSY! Oh yeh - messy and then some.  And I'm not the worlds tidiest baker either, so the kitchen looked like a bomb had hit it (so did I).

These look great too. Easy to make, but messy right Katy?
And your right, one is enough, they are very rich.

Thanks Goreti!  They are actually quite nice........These were the extras from the ones that I made as a gift, so hubby and I had one last night after dinner.  One is enough, trust me!  Extremely rich and very filling.
