Oh, my ! Were you the recipient? I'd be afraid to ship cakes and cupcakes. When I worked for Cookies by Design we would ship cookie bouquets and I was shocked how the Fed Ex driver handled the boxes. The box was clearly marked FRAGILE and THIS END UP but he always just threw the boxes into his truck and didn't really care much which end ended up in the end.

I have heard many reports of this happening with almost all shippers, which is why cupcakes and cakes should never be shipped. It cannot be guaranteed how they are handled by the carriers. Alot of times the boxes are not kept upright, or not kept in a controlled environment.

Im sure it wasnt normal.

Plus they might have made them but someone else might have shipped them to me.
