This cake was hands down the most challenging cake I've ever done. The cake is 3 cakes...(2) 4x4x4 and (1) 2x4x8. I didn't realize how uneven the "feet" were til I started tiling and by then it was too late. This cake has 2,384 individually cut and applied 1/2 square gumpaste tiles. The tiles are applied on a fondant canvas with buttercream icing under the fondant and a chocolate cake. This was a gift for my nephew and took me 3 days to make plus 2 days of cutting tiles. Whew, glad its done!!

I didn't know what a creeper was, but my son did. I had to go check it out on google for myself. Honestly, I think having them a little bit different worked to your advantage. See? https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ15DyzTiDO8Eo...
