Sorry forgot to answer the leaf question. Yes they are silk rose leaves.

Thank you for the compliments. This has become something bigger then I ever thought it would be. I was doing a wedding show at America's Center in St Louis and I needed something to fill one more spot on my table because one of my other projects didn't work the way I wanted it too. It was 1am and I was so tired and just wanted to go to bed, I had cupcakes left over, I decided to do a standby of flower cupcakes and threw it together. It was the biggest hit, above anything else I have ever done! Yes, they are held in place with toothpicks. 3 in the middle to angle the cupcake correctly and then I rest the cupcake on a line of toothpicks so it won't slide off over night.

The arrangement is absolutely beautiful. I would like to know how the cupcakes are held in the vase also. Are the leaves silk?
