Baby Jungle Safari - 1130F
White sheet cake to feed about 45-48 people. I placed swags in a division on all sides so that cake cutter would have a visual to go by as cutting points to insure there were enough pieces. All animals are made from fondant and jointed together with spaghetti for added strength. Trees are dowels covered in fondant. Client wanted toys added to give more of a baby theme to the cake. I wasn't going to enter these guys, but June and I were talking, and she encouraged me to do it, so....I figured nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? I knew with all the stuff I have lined up for this month, I wasn't going to have time to make anything else, so this is as good as it gets. With as many awesome cakes that have already been entered, Nadia, I don't expect to actually win, but there have to be cakes entered in order for there to be a contest, right?
