Thank you June, you are all so kind. xxxx
I have tears rolling down my face as I try and type this message. I just want to thank all of you, it's lovely that people care enough to help me through. Thank you. xxx
Oh Pat, my heart goes out to you. I cannot even imagine what it must be like to lose a child.
Don't mean to get in my preaching mode here, BUT, you just have to keep smiling, knowing that they are smiling down from up yonder. Both my mom & one of my brothers went to Join Jesus in the past 3 years. I find that I am greatly comforted, knowing that they are there, and free from everything going on here. I really don't have much time to actually 'miss' them, for I find myself talking to them all the time. And every time I see one of the many pics, around the house, that has them smiling, makes me just smile right back like a big old fool. I keep them on my background, as well as my screensaver, on all of the pc's, so I have that opportunity all the time.
Thanks Katy & Sandra, it is hard, but with the help of family and friends we get through these sad times. They say time is a good healer, and I think it is. XXX
Bless your heart, Pat. As Katy said, good for you for having the strength to do something creative. Sugar hugs.
Pat, I am so sorry to hear that, how devastating for you. It's all very easy for people to say you need something to keep your mind off it, but it's the motivation to get started that's the hard part. So well done for taking that step and I hope things get a little easier for you.
Thank you Katy, glad you like the cake.
Not made many cakes so far this year as I lost my eldest Son at Christmas so not felt like doing much.
But on the other hand it dose take your mind off things being busy. Thanks again for the nice comments. xx
wow Pat - this close up shows it off much better. What a beautiful piece of work
