Yes, anything that you use has to be food safe or made for food use. The Acetate that uou can buy in hobby shops can actually poision someone from the chemicals used to make & finish it. The chocolate will leach it right up.

I have done Pirates Chest & Shells at Beach Resorts as well as Butterflies & other flowers in Hotels.

So glad that you straightened me out with the acetate because I have acetate sheets but they are NOT food safe. Great and very important information about Food Safe Acetate Sheets. Thanks so much.
What no ring for me? I'm sure there are so many people who order this because it is really beautiful.

No you use special Acetate sheets that are food safe to work your chocolate onto. You shape it & when the chocolate has set the Acetate comes right off.

No, sorry the ring is not included. It is something that I have had to keep around in many Hotels & restaurants that I worked in when someone was going to Pop the Question.

"on Acetate" does that mean it is a beautiful box to save forever because the chocolate is still on the acetate sheets? I would love to have the diamond ring in the box should it be there including the truffles!

Thank You, when you use good tempered chocolate on Acetate you can get a great shine from your chocolate.
