Chocolate Contest
Libby brought a photo from a magazine and wanted the cake just like it. I tried to talk her into making changes because I don't usually like to copy cakes but she wanted it just like the picture so I did it the way she wanted it. The "tooled leather" is done with dark chocolate Satin Ice using leather tools to make the design in the sides. The leather strips are also dark chocolate fondant. There are other views in my album that you can see the tooling up closer

Thank you Sherry. It was for a very special couple. I was glad I was able to pull it off only a week after back surgery. Glad now I will have a break for a few weeks.
