The wedding cake I made for my brother last September.
Top tier was a vanilla madeira cake filled with raspberry jam & vanilla buttercream, middle tier was a lemon cake filled with lemon curd & lemon buttercream & the bottom tier was a rich fruit cake covered in marzipan. All cakes were covered in ivory sugarpaste.
Ruby red & ivory roses with trailing ivy all made from flowerpaste adorned each cake along with 3" ivory church candles to complete the look.
The bride & groom's initials (S & G) were intertwined on the front of the bottom tier.
The cakes were finished off with 2 3mm ruby ribbons around each tier.
