Cherry Almond Cake
Another one of my dessert cake. An almond cake with almond flavoured buttercream and topped with cherry pie filling.

Yes it is. I really just did this cake on whim - I had some leftover almond cake and was going to a friend's house for dinner - made some more buttercream and just had some fun with it :).

Hey Kim, it's super simple - Its the scratch WASC cake recipe from the site, but I added an extra tsp of almond flavoring to the cake, and the buttercream recipe was the same - subbed almond flavouring for the vanilla.
