I just cut a white fondant then stick the cut black squares with water to make the pattern for I don't have an edible printer which should be easier and perfect. Thank you Sandra!!!

Outstanding job, Maria! How did you wind up doing the checked ribbon around the bottom? However it is done, it is perfect.
