This cake is INCREDIBLE!  The "artwork" in decorating this kitty looks very real.  When I started my search for "cat cakes" and I clicked on this one I had to do a double-take to make sure it was a cake.  I would LOVE to know some of the secrets to getting this so real looking. One, what cake pan did you start with to get the basic cat and did you do a great deal of carving?  Next, what did you use to get the striping so nice? I could almost see someone using the edible markers on a tan fondant base as a start for the decorating.  I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to know some of your secrets!
