Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

This is for the family to enjoy and got to try a new recipe. Cake is Blackberry Pinoit Cake filled with a thin layer of chocolate ganache & blackberry curd, frosted with blackberry buttercream & MMF. Any one interested this is the recipe I used: http://www.cakepaperparty.com/2014/05/raspberry-pinot-noir-cake/ but since didn't have raspberry at home went with what I had.

I left what was left of the cake at my brother-in-law's house along with the cookies that I had made.   They will have to fight it out.  The extra one I made I used to decorate the platter of sugar free cookies that I made for my neighbor's wife who is a diabetic.

This is the best picture of this cake and I can see how truly gorgeous it is.  The cookie topper turned out so beautifully and the color combinations are sooo nice.  Love it!  Really happy to see your water mark!
