This was my first time working with Meringue Butter Cream, to be honest, I did not really have much fun with it. I live in Florida, and I can't see this type of buttercream holding up under the heat. Maybe next time I will make it with all shortening instead of 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening. The cake was really good though, it is a lemon raspberry cake. Yummy.
