Here where I live, people want to pay that for a cake, but cost of living is quite high here I believe. Anyway WOW I can't believe that your cake is NOT fondant, I completely thought you meant it was ALL buttercream..as in the crumb coat and as the filling...NO WAY wow you're good lol..What kind of buttercream recipe are you using, I would love to be able to make an all buttercream cake, would be so much cheaper for me, here in Sudbury, Ontario Canada ha ha!...damn that's amazing truely!
I'm in rural Iowa where the standard of living is lower than either coast or the big cities. Something like this for 150 people would be about $300. I know some people would think that is way too low, but it's what things cost around here. Our groceries are also cheaper, so my cost in something like this is about $40, and the time including baking, decorating and clean up would be around 8 hours. This design is all buttercream, and does not take me very much time at all. I am much, much faster with buttercream than fondant, so I actually prefer it.
IT'S ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! HOW MUCH DOES IT COST FOR A THREE TIER CAKE LIKE THAT IN YOUR AREA OR COUNTRY?
