Buttercream Cake Contest

Coconut cake with home made coconut custard covered in coconut buttercream. For my mom when I was lucky enough to go visit her in Quebec!! She loves birds, so I made her little birds in fondant/gumpaste. My luggage was lost for 4 days with all my cake things, so I painted the branches with cocoa that I made out of chocolate. Luckily I brought the birds with me on the plane.
