Cindy, I'll be glad to help whenever I can if you have a question. You can message me on here or email me directly at mjudge83@gmail.com. I also have a blog (http://melcakewalk.blogspot.com) where I put tutorials every once in a while.

About the gum paste, I have used Wilton's premade gum paste before but I also make my own. The Wilton GP is good for small things because it doesn't dry as hard and as strong as the homemade stuff. It can also wilt in the humidity, so be careful. When I make it from scratch, I use Nicholas Lodge's recipe. You should be able to google it to get the recipe, but let me know if you can't find it. :)

Yes, it drooped! It did not harden and I didn't have time to redo it - It was a gift to a friend but I still hated that I had to put toothpicks in it to hold it up! I am just learning though! All of your cakes are simply amazing and I am inspired to keep at it! Do I need to buy the gumpaste or is there a recipe?

I used gum paste for the bow. Did your marshmallow fondant bow droop? That's that I've seen happen with them...they just don't harden will.

I love this cake! Do you use fondant for making your bows? I made a cake this week with marshmellow fondant bow - never again!
