I did this birthday for my friends birthday party tomorrow night. It's a surprise :)

I don't know for sure Becky, but I would think if you attach your snowflakes with royal icing, you should be OK.
Can any of you answer this - I am doing a Frozen cake tomorrow. I have made royal icing snowflakes that I wanted to stick half on the cake and half off the side. The cake will be covered in fondant, however, I do use shortening on my hands when I am working with the fondant. Will the royal icing weaken after it's put on the cake? I am worried that they may crack and break off because of the grease?? Or, is grease only an issue with royal before it has hardened?? It is also somewhat humid here. Should I not use royal icing?
Another example that proves that cake decorators/designers are really wizards and it is all magic anyway! Good save, Becky!
Thank you!! I had a mishap with this one. Fortunately, it was for a friend (free cake). My number 5 did not dry well. It has been very humid here and after the cake had been out of the frig for about 30 minutes, it broke in half. I had to very QUICKLY make another 5. Put TONS of tylose in it so it would stand up. It worked but it wasn't pretty :( Lesson learned - give at least 3 days for fondant decorations to totally dry.
soooooooo cool Becky! Brilliant design
This is another one that makes me laugh out loud! Too clever and beautifully done, Becky!
O.M.G...... I like this one. Love the design..love the colors, so clever.. :))))
