Hello Jane, thank you for the compliments! For these cupcakes I used vanilla buttercream. I like to make the crusting type as it is much easier to decorate, holds very nicely and looks great. The violets and roses are made out of sugar paste.

just lovely!!!! What icing did you use?...they look wonderful. Also, what did you make the decoration out of?
