My dad is a biker through and through!
Approximate size is 3 ft. long by 18 inches high (see http://www.cakeswebake.com/photo/harley-cake-full-size?commentId=4635016%3AComment%3A975154&xg_source=msg_com_photo ). The entire body area of the bike (saddle bags, rear and front fender, engine area, headlight section, and tank) are all made of cake and edible. The seat was made of wood to screw into a central dowel for stability and support. The exhaust pipes and forks are PVC covered with fondant and painted with silver airbrush paint, the handlebars were made the same way, but with thinner copper tubing. Front tire is wood, windshield is plastic. The saddlebags are decorated with silver dragees for studs, the logo on the tank was freehand with buttercream, and the engine was painted on the black fondant by hand with edible silver airbrush paint.

Thanks Katy!
Just checked out your FB page - photo does it even more justice there. You make some awesome cakes btw
Wow - I somehow seem to have missed this one first time around, don't know how. But a great piece of art - real Harley stuff
Thank you! The front and rear tires are wood and are screwed into the board. There is also a dowel under the center for support.
This is amazing!!! I am so impressed! How did you get it to stand up on the board without falling over?
Awesome Job!
Thank you so much everyone!
Nice job, Rebecca.
You did a great job, hope I will be able to do one for my nieces on day.
Very good work, I love it
