Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I made this cake after the sweet 16 disaster cake. I was determined to prove to myself that I could still do cakes so I put everything on this one but the kitchen sink.

It's so elegant.  Nice recovery.  I think I would have pouted a little longer, but you jumped right back in!  My Hero! LOL

Thank you Tim! The picture does not do it justice as it was much grander looking that what this shows.

Yep - that was going to be an all night bender for sure

lol, from the sounds of it Katy, they were really gonna tie one on! It was an all girls night out and each one of them even got rooms to stay at in the hotel part so they wouldn't have to drive home.

Agreed Linda - booze and cake is all wrong.  Unless of course, it's a nice little drop of dessert wine.  But really should be a cup of tea.  Booze goes with crisps lol!

Thank you Luz! I hope it tasted good. I split the two layers in two and made it a four layer, and I used sour cream inside the cake, so it was very moist and had such a nice texture when I split it. They took it to the casino last night for the party. Sounded like they were all going to 'tie one on for Bobbette', do some gambling, and then eat cake! Booze and cake....yucky! Sounds like too much sweet to me.
