Since I didn't have strawberries, I made a pleasant compromise. :)
Sour Cream Cake
10-12 servings
1 ¾ c sifted cake flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 c sugar
1 c sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs

1 – Sift flour, powder, soda & salt together twice.
2 – Add sugar to sour cream ¼ cup at a time, stirring until blended after each addition. Add vanilla with last addition.
3 – Add eggs, one at a time, to cream mixture, beat well after each addition
4 – Add flour mixture gradually to cream mixture, stir until blended.
Pour into prepared 9 in loaf pan (or whatever size pan you want to use) bake at 365F for 35-40min.
