I make a couple of changes to the recipe here: http://www.wilton.com/recipe/Buttercream-Icing.  I use all shortening instead of butter + shortening.  I also use water instead of milk. And I add 1 Tablespoon of Meringue Powder to help stabilize the icing.  Try that and see how it works for you. :)

Oh really? Every time I use the regular buttercream it just don't work for me, fondant is kinda heavy and it get all missed up

Eman, it's just a standard buttercream recipe - nothing fancy.  Have you tried the Wilton recipe?  That's a pretty reliable one!

You are very talented. Can I ask you what kind of icing do you use. Cleanest edges ever. Very clean and sharp edges!!!! I have been looking for a good butter cream recipe but so far nothing is giving me this kind of edges.

Buttercream-iced cake with real ribbon around the base of each tier.  Bow is gum paste with a broach the bride purchased.  Letters are purchased by the bride too.
