It's all fondant and royal icing piping.  This was really time consuming.  Good luck to your daughter!

Wow looks great and did you decorate with fondant or gum paste. My daughter is in to making cakes and she wants to give it a try. Thank you so much

I cut them all out by hand and piped royal icing symbols and numbers.
