This cake was for a 50th birthday party. The diamonds on the bottom tier were made using diamond cutters and the stripes on top were cut using the Wilton fondant ribbon cutter. Sugar pearls were added to the points of the diamonds with water. The balls are hand rolled fondant and some are attached to gardening wire. The fifty on top is hand cut out of gumpaste using a template I created on Microsoft word. The white fondant is MMF and the black fondant is Satin Ice. TFL!!
