Yellow butter cake, vanilla butter cream.
Purchased doll.
Charms with ribbons are inserted at waist.
I added a extra 9" single layer at bottom to give height. I made veil and bouquet.

Thanks Goreti & Sandra....It's an old Victorian custom (so they say) A bride would hide small charms in the cake for her bridesmaids or other special people to pull. Each charm has a special meaning and would foretell a coming event in the life of that person. I have quite a few of these on my bettycakes site. Also a list of some of the charm meanings. Fun cake for showers.
