Wow, that's so neat Betty! A celebrity in our midst!
I must not have to much of a southern accent, people don't believe I've lived here all my life. Years ago when I was a telephone operator I made those "you've reached a wrong number" recording for the phone company. They seemed to like my voice. :))
I didn't know for years that I had an accent. Then I went to work at NMH in Seaford, Delaware, and Everybody wanted to know where I was from..., like about 27 miles N/W of them! I never knew that you had an accent, just because you grew up in the country??? And not in town? We all did go to the same school together after all... , go figure.
Why Thank you "MS Bonnie" (In my best southern drawl) Born & bred right here in NC in the house I have inherited from my Mother.
Ha Ha Sandra, your math ain't that bad! Betty would have been an aspiring young woman, fresh out of school, and rapidly becoming the 'Southern' rendition of the 'Belle of the ball'. (I am crossing my fingers here Betty, & hoping that you grew up in the south!) lol
Anyway, Betty, it was just my way of saying that your cakes are fit for royalty! There, I hopefully, finally straightened that one out! lol
Thanks for the compliment but no it isn't mine.
Yeap, this could be a Betty Cake, for sure....but she would have had to made it when she was a baby :o)
Betty, This isn't your cake by any chance??
Jacky's cake could soooo be your cake. This is your technique & style! Reminded me of you the instant I saw it! Actually, you have a mess of wedding cakes that look better than this, so I guess it isn't yours after all. lol
I'm with you guys, perfect as is!
