I haven't bought any new tips in years, don't know what's out there now.Guess I should see.

Ans that was before I started adding all the extra sugars.  Oh well, I will work on it some more tomorrow.   I have to get up @6am, so have a nice night, and thanks again for all your help!

Very interesting looking tips, I think I only see one (81) that I have. Can't really tell but your icing looks ok. It seems to hold a ruffle shape.

Betty, these were the tips I played with today.  For the #81, I tried it Round side up, round side to the left, round side to the right, Yes, and even down for a flower petal.  It was just a blob, would not hold it's shape.

Yes Bonnie, sounds like lily of valley. Sorry you're having trouble. Did you turn tip round side up? Like this ( .Then squeeze "bulb of icing" and pull away. (Sorry can't explain the technique to well.)

The ones you do on your cakes that look almost like lily of the valley?  Not good with flower names, they were white, and almost round, and in a cluster.  Hope this helps.  I started out like that, then kept adding sugar, because it would not hold its shape, I mean, not at all!  And it still won't, sigh...

I have a bunch of specialty tips that I finally got around to trying today.  I will get a pic & post for you to critique.
