Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Today is my daughter’s 29th birthday and I couldn’t let it pass without making her a cake. Made this quick and easy cake for her. Of course, it had to be chocolate cake. It has a thin layer of white chocolate raspberry ganache and drizzled with chocolate ganache.

Thanks Katy.  We will be cutting it today.  Let's see if the tartness of the fruit puree cut the sweetness of the white chocolate.  I find white chocolate ganache way too sweet so don't usually use it.

Gorgeous cake Goreti.  I love the sound of that white chocolate raspberry ganache - great combination.

Thanks Sandra.  I had no idea what I was going to put on top.  Was thinking of making meringues but then I remembered that I had some leftover cake in the freezer.  Just mixed it with some liqueur and roughly covered it with candy melts.  Wanted a rough finish on them.

This is so pretty and sounds so yummy!  What are the balls on top?
