Ashley's Birthday Cake
cinnamon swirl cake, apple filling, smbc frosting--a last minute birthday cake for one of my nieces--birthday is Sunday and I am going to surprise her with this cake. Topped with practice gumpaste flowers that I had at home.

Thanks Linda. This was a last minute thing. She was over yesterday and gently reminded me that her birthday was Sunday. I know she loves my goodies so I decided to make her a cake. I have quite a few flowers that I had done for practice so why not. I've never made the cake or the filling before. I loved the filling. Reminds me of apple pie.
