Cream Cheese Frosting
16 oz. Cream Cheese
8 T (1 stick) unsalted butter at room temperature
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 C. powdered sugar
Mix creamcheese and butter using a paddle attachment on a stand mixer
with motor running add vanilla . mix for about 30 seconds
add sugar a little at a time mix until smooth.
use right away or store in airtight container for up to 2 days.
This recipe came out of Buddy Valastro Book Cake Boss..... I think most cream cheese frosting recipes only call for 8 oz of cheese....this one is double...I can not keep from eating it right out of the bowl....enjoy

please please share your sturdy cream cheese frosting, i have to bake on saturday for some clients n i dont want my cream cheese to be all runny as it tends to be!
