WOW do you need to use toothpick to hold the cakes together, or the buttercream will do.. I am going to make some this weekend.. I am not sure about the fondant.. Thank you Diane..

Bake two half eggs using Wilton's egg shaped cupcake tin.  Cut one in half widthwise.  One full half is the base bed of the basinette.  The half widthwise half is placed upright as seen in the picture.  Cover the cake with buttercream and then fondant.  The baby is hand molded.  The blanket has my attached ruffle technique using my foot tool.  Attached ruffles of fondant are on the sides.
