Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I went thru so much with this cake to the point where I had to replace the whole top version. I shadow boxed the top and drew it on wafer paper with edible marker then colored it in.

Thank you all! My friend loved it and went nuts. He wasn't sure which cake his daughter would love best because both cakes he ordered he liked very much. The other one was Tin Tin and his dog Snowy. Not sure if I posted that one but if I didn't, I will.

I have the markers that Global Sugar Arts offers. I can not remember the brand... they are a variety of colors... maybe a package of 6 to 8 and then I have a couple extra black ones. Love using them. You did a great job!

Americolors makes some edible ink pens. Not sure what colors they offer though.

Thank you ladies! I also like the edible coloring photo better than the printed one. Now that I can get the wafer sheets, I will do that in place of having the photo printed. If I can only find more edible pens besides the four colors that Wilton sells.

Thank you! This is one cake that I DID learn a lot from. Now I'm not so afraid to work with wafer paper. I like the fact that I was given a blank one. If that didn't happen, the picture above would not have existed.
