OK I PAINT A PIECE OF REGULAR GUMPASTE IN YELLOW TO MAKE FREE HAND TAXIS AND THEN PAINT THE EDGES WITH MAGIC MARKER NON=TOXIC. FOR THE BUILDINGS I PAINT GRAY REGULAR GUMPASTE. WHEN DRY Y PAINT WITH MAGIC MARKER AND CUT LITTLE PIECES OF YELLOW AND BLACK FOR THE WINDOWS. IF YOU WANT USE FONDANT, ADD 1/4 TSP OF TYLOSE TO THE PIECE OF FONDANT(A PIECE LIKE YOUR CLOSE HAND), AND WORKS PERFECT.

Grace.....did you hand paint all the buildings and "little" yellow cars?
I take it these are pieces of fondant that you cut out and then painted?
Must say, I really like the way you finished this off....
