This is a really cute cake.
Millie: Thanks for the compliment. With fondant, I covered one cavity of a Wilton Doll Mold Cake pan (covered with plastic wrap) to shape the bassinet hood. I let that dry pretty firmly and then, using royal icing and #47 basketweave tip, piped on the stripes. For bassinet base, I used a 7" oval cake, cut down slightly to fit bassinet hood, and lightly frosted with buttercream. I then rolled strips of fondant and placed around the cake to create the skirt drapes. I then covered entire cake with fondant. I made a fondant pillow, modeled babies head from fondant (I think I painted on hair & eyes, and used a half circle tool to sculpt mouth and painted in). For body, just did a log shape and covered with a fondant blanket. Then piped buttercream beads and applied dried fondant bows to finish.
love it could you share with how u did the crib and the baby please thanks
