Bagel side view
This is a close up of a 10" cake carved to look like a bagel. Everything is made from sugar, even the sesame seeds.

No, I had gotten one those cutters from Maria (?) at Global Sugar Art. It came with some very insanely tiny cutters to remove the "lace" holes. It turned out to be exactly the right size cutter. I was going to use a 101s rose tip and then remembered that cutter. Had to cut out a gazillion! I have now made that cake 3 times. My husband is a general manager for Noah's Bagels. The hardest part was the hole in the middle. LOL
