Thanks! It was easier than I thought it would be, but did a practice run since this was the first time doing something like this. I sat the bowl cake on top of a single layer (8 inch, I think) to give it a little more height. The bodice is just fondant cut in a half circle (used a cupcake liner as a template) and wrapped around. Next time I'll try a little harder to get eh icing on the dress smoother ;-) Good luck! i can't wait to see a picture!

This is so cute. I'm about to try making this cake for my niece's birthday. Any tips you learned along the way would be greatly appreciated.
