For the fondant use powder gelatin, no flavor, sifted confectioner's sugar, glucose, crisco shortening, glycerine, CMC to make it pliable, and knead it until smooth.  Once on the cake smooth it out with the Wilton smoother or a powder puff.

The color combination is so adorable. This cake gives me so many ideas already! Any tips for making the fondant smooth? I am really new at this. Just made my first shark cake for my 5-year old and I loved the feeling of making one for him!
