One more note, because I made the wave a little thick it took a long time to dry and maybe never fully set up. The piping gel softened it a little after 4-5 hours, it started to droop about an inch.

Thanks. I was wondering if it was just fondant or if it was a mixture. It gives me an idea for a 1st birthday party cake I have to do in October.

Thanks! I made the wave out of 50/50 fondant gumpaste and formed over a soda bottle. Then covered with piping gel.
